A house for the whole group, not a hotel room
Adare is a small village, and Ryder Cup week will bring a lot of people to it. Staying out on the Clare coast gives your group a whole house, a kitchen of your own, and somewhere quiet to come back to after the golf.

Four bedrooms, sleeps eight. Room for a golf group or two families travelling together.
Golf
Lahinch is ten minutes away, so you can play a links round of your own on the days around the matches.

The 2027 Ryder Cup at Adare Manor marks the contest's 100th anniversary. The week opens with four build-up days, then Europe and the USA play from Friday to Sunday.

Your options around Adare Manor
Adare Manor isn't taking normal bookings in September 2027, and Adare itself is a small village. Here's what the official Ryder Cup accommodation page lists, and where a self-catering house in Clare fits in.
Official campsite
Pre-erected tents in Mountwilliam, Adare, next to the fifth fairway. Open to ticket holders only.
Official Property Rental Programme
Private houses rented through Ryder Cup Travel Services. The standard term is 8 nights, from Sunday 12 to Monday 20 September 2027.
Cruise ship
The Oceania Marina, docked in the Shannon Estuary, with ticket-inclusive packages and daily transfers to Adare Manor.
A self-catering house in Clare
A whole house on the Clare coast, sleeps 8, booked with us by email. We're not an official Ryder Cup provider and we don't sell tickets.
Getting to Adare
From the Clare coast to Adare Manor
It's about 85 km by road from Liscannor to Adare, and match days won't be normal days. There's no spectator parking at Adare Manor, so the official plan is park and ride or train and ride. Park and ride details go to ticket purchasers, so check rydercup.com/attend/transport.
Park and ride
Shuttle buses from sites around Adare. The official page gives 20 to 30 minutes from the East area and 10 to 20 minutes from the West area.
Train and ride
Dedicated trains run from Limerick Junction to a temporary Adare station (45 minutes), and shuttle buses run from Limerick Colbert (35 to 40 minutes).
By car from the house
Liscannor to Ennis, the M18 towards Limerick, then on to Adare. Leave early, plan to park and ride, and we'll send the latest transport details before you arrive.

Ryder Cup 2027 ticket prices
Tickets are sold through the official Ryder Cup channels only, and we don't sell them. The Irish window and the global ballot (which ran to 29 June 2026) have already run, so check rydercup.com for what's still available. It's worth having tickets before you book a stay.

Choosing a base
How far is Clare from Adare, compared with other bases?
Rooms near Adare are limited, so plenty of groups will end up an hour or more away. Here's how a Clare base compares.
Limerick city
The nearest city, and the obvious first choice for most groups.
Clare coast (Liscannor)
Howard's Way. About an hour and 15 minutes on a normal day, with the Atlantic, Lahinch and the Cliffs of Moher at the other end.
Killarney, Co. Kerry
Around an hour and a half's drive from Adare, according to official tour operator Carr Golf.
A rough plan
Two days: one for the golf, one off it
Nothing here is compulsory. It's just how a group tends to split a week like this: a big day at Adare, then a day for the coast.
No hotel dining room to queue for. Cook for the group, then get going before the roads fill.
There's no spectator parking at Adare Manor itself. Head for a park and ride site or the train, and check the official Ryder Cup transport page for your day.
Home for dinner, the fire on and the Atlantic outside. Vaughan's Anchor Inn is in Liscannor if nobody wants to cook. Book ahead in Ryder Cup week.
Five minutes from the house. Go early or late to miss the coach traffic in the middle of the day.
Walk the beach, or play the links if you can get a tee time. Book well ahead.
About 35 minutes inland to Poulnabrone Dolmen, a Neolithic tomb older than Stonehenge. Free, and roadside.
