The Ryder Cup comes back to Ireland in September 2027, for the first time since the K Club in 2006. This time it's at Adare Manor in Co. Limerick, and it marks the contest's 100th anniversary.

When is the 2027 Ryder Cup?

Ryder Cup week runs from Monday 13 to Sunday 19 September 2027. The first four days, 13–16 September, are build-up days. The matches are played from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September.

Tickets and hospitality are sold through the official Ryder Cup channels, so check there for how and when they're released. We look after the stay only.

Where to stay for the Ryder Cup

Adare is a small village, and the hotels and B&Bs closest to the course will be the first to go. Limerick city is the obvious next option. But if you're travelling as a group, or turning the golf into a proper week away, it's worth looking a bit further out.

The Clare coast is about an hour and 15 minutes from Adare. You give up a short commute, and in return you get the Atlantic, room to spread out, and some of the best links golf in the country on the doorstep.

Howard's Way, Liscannor

Howard's Way is a four-bedroom house above Liscannor Bay that sleeps eight. It's a whole house rather than a hotel room: your own kitchen, a triple-height living room with sea views, an open fire for September evenings, and a reading room with a fire of its own.

There's private parking and EV charging, four acres of grounds, and fibre broadband if you want to stream the build-up coverage or get a bit of work done. The house sits on an exposed stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way, so the weather changes quickly. That's part of it.

Getting from Liscannor to Adare Manor

The drive is about an hour and 15 minutes on a normal day: Liscannor to Ennis, south on the M18 towards Limerick, then around the city and on to Adare.

Match days won't be normal days. Leave early, and check the official Ryder Cup transport and parking arrangements once they're published. We'll send you the latest before you arrive. You can get there by bus via Ennis and Limerick, but it takes several hours each way, so a car is the realistic option.

Make a golf week of it

Lahinch is ten minutes from the house, so you can play a links round of your own on the build-up days or once the matches are over. There's more on that in our guide, Where to Stay Near Lahinch Golf Club. The Cliffs of Moher are five minutes away for the days when someone in the group wants a break from golf.
